We checked in and felt welcome. Leonidas (hope I got his name right) did an exceptional job. He recommended 3 restaurants. We ate at all of them, and they were fantastic. He told us about the Cabaret. We went to the a la carte Friday show and had a super fun time. The staff were all helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The beds were comfortable. The room and decor were great. The dancing girls were fun to have around! We found the hotel quiet and slept well. Perhaps lower floors might have found the bar noisy. We were on the 4th floor. The location was superb. We were close to subways, restaurants, shopping, an Aldi, and a weekend market. The standard rooms are quite small. We asked for a second luggage rack, which was helpful to keep the room orderly. The clothing racks hung over our luggage and were not practical. Style over practicality, in my opinion. We appreciated the daily bottle of water and coffee pods. We met friends from Canada, and they enjoyed the Maxime also. I would return again, without hesitation.

We stayed at XXX Hotel in Lisbon for two nights, with breakfast included, and we were truly impressed by the warm and professional service provided by Marie, who looked after the breakfast service. Marie moved gracefully through the restaurant with a gentle smile, always attentive and never without a purpose—constantly carrying something or helping someone. She was incredibly warm, efficient, and accommodating. No request was too much, and her instinct to anticipate guests’ needs was remarkable. Every interaction came with a cheerful “yes,” and she genuinely did her best to make everyone feel welcome and looked after. As frequent travelers, we rarely leave reviews, but Marie’s exceptional service left such a strong impression that we’d feel guilty not to say something. She truly shines in her role. Thank you, Marie, for your kindness and dedication. We wish you all the best and hope to see you again if we ever return to Lisbon.

Wonderful and interesting hotel with helpful and kind staff. Clean rooms decorated in a really special style to honour the past of the building that once was a cabaret...there is a lot of history to read between the lines. Stylish and different, with comfortable beds and pillows, spotless housekeeping and a lovely little enclosed garden terrace to hang around and have a drink. The breakfast was very nice with a good choice of cooked food, cold cuts, cheese, fruit and pastries. The location is perfect for exploring the city, near all the major sights, walking distance from Bairro Alto and other places of interest, while situated in a quiet street, so you get a decent night's sleep. Very friendly and proffessional reception staff as well as the breakfast room staff. I really enjoyed staying in Maxime hotel and would love to return.

location-is nice, walking distance to many places, close to metro by walking breakfast-perfect, taste was good, many options plus it was from 8 to 11. we had a early check out and they prepared breakfast box since we are going to miss the breakfast, we really appreciated. room- specious, very nice. i saw some comments about hotel that is dark inside and no enough closet.. the room has concepts which is nice and not giving dark vibe after you are opening all lights:) there is no wardrobe but there is hanger and chairs to put your clothes - i think for 2 people it was nice. convenience- clean, changing towels everyday, nice toilet equipments, there is a bar and reztaurant which is super cool, they are also doing some cabaret shows( i didnt attend) definitely i will suggest this hotel

Location is near to perfect! Close to main squares in city centre. Few steps away from Av. da Liberdade and Metro station. And when you are close to Metro station, you are close to everything in Lisbon! (you can purchase Navegante 24-hour cards only at Metro stations) Beautiful park in front of the hotel. Botanic garden and busy nightlife of Bairro Alto is very close, but be prepaired to go uphill. Snooker bar is right below the hotel. Breakfast was very good. The bed was great! Even for sleeping... ;-) Extremely quiet room, considering one night there was real storm that wrecked trees all around the city. Felt nothing, slept like a baby.
